“A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) 2017 BY MODIFICATION AND INCLUSION OF VARIOUS PROJECTS UNDER THE LOCALLY FUNDED PROJECTS (LFP) AND 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND (20% DF) AS EMBODIED UNDER CITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (CDC) RESOLUTION NO. 9, SERIES OF 2017”.
WHEREAS, presented before the 7th City Council of Tagum is a letter endorsement dated September 18, 2017 from the Local Chief Executive addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod through Hon. Geterito T. Gementiza, MDMG, the City Development Council (CDC) Resolution No. 9, series of 2017 duly approved on September 15, 2017;
WHEREAS, City Development Council (CDC) Resolution No. 9, series of 2017 entitled “A Resolution endorsing to the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Tagum the amendments by modification and inclusion of various projects in the Annual Investment Program for Calendar Year 2017 (AIP-2017) under the Locally Funded Projects (LFP) and 20% Development Fund (20% DF)” was requested for consideration and approval by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in order to comply with the requirement set forth in Budget Operations Manual 2016;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Government Code of 1991, the City Development Council is mandated to formulate medium and long term development plans of the City and to harmonize the requested plan, programs and activities in the Provincial Government and City Government;
WHEREAS, the following proposed programs, projects and activities for inclusion in the Annual Investment Program CY 2017 were identified as priority PPAs in order to address the needs of the community based on the need assessment analysis;
WHEREAS, the modification of PPAs to the amount in the Annual Investment Program CY 2017 were proposed in order to support the financial requirements of various office operations and project implementation;
WHEREAS, stated under City Development Council (CDC) Resolution No. 9, series of 2017 are the proposed amendments in the Annual Investment Program for CY 2017, to wit;

WHEREAS, considering that the formulation of the AIP was the product of objective deliberation of the City Development Council who acted through participative processes, the same was requested to be endorse to the honorable members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for appropriate action, hence this resolution;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagum to pass a resolution amending the Annual Investment Program (AIP) 2017 by modification and inclusion of various projects under the Locally Funded Projects (LFP) and 20% Development Fund (20% DF) as embodied under City Development Council (CDC) Resolution No. 9, series of 2017.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all offices concerned for their information and guidance.
